Natural Reserves

We have chosen two of the best routes of the Costa Brava’s coastal path due to its variety of landscapes. A singular itinerary through forests, cliffs and coves with great views that will also invite you to walk through secluded spots near the sea only reachable by foot. It is a simple route through the protected areas of Castell and Cap Roig feasible for those used to walking. 

Start and ending location: Begur (Baix Empordà)

Day 1:

Route 13: Begur to Tamariu
Route 14: Tamariu to Calella de Palafrugell
Duration: 6,5-7 h. aprox.
Distance: 18 km
Difficulty: difficult
Elevation:  544 m

Day 2:
Circular Route: Calella de Palafrugell – Castell beach – Calella de Palafrugell
Duration:  4-4,5 h. aprox.
Distance: 13 km
Difficulty:  difficult
Elevation: 480 m
